Our Purpose Statement
The North Perth Community of Character works to educate and encourage citizens to live with good character.  We educate about the personal, business and community benefits of having a neighbourhood where people are fair, honest, compassionate, respectful, inclusive, courageous, empathetic, integral, responsible, optimistic and show perseverance.

The purpose of this initiative is to build a community of character that embraces people from all races,
cultures, life experiences and abilities. This is important because our community will
be enriched by the full participation of all people in all aspects within the life of the community.
We are working to change attitudes, enhance policies and change behaviour. We
encourage all to work, play and live with character. Always.

Our Logo
Our logo was designed by Ernest and Gabriele Hertweck in response to a tender the committee sent out requesting submissions.
Description of Logo:
The two C's facing each other embrace a blue circle symbolizing the
community of people from all races, cultures, life experiences and abilities.
"Blue is powerful as the nature in winter where everything
secretly and quietly sprouts and grows" - Johannes Itten

The green C represents the word Community. Green, the colour of
hope, is facing the colour red. The red C stands for Character. These three
elements form the new symbol, Inclusion. To underline the growth resulting out of
the full participation of all people in the life of the community leaves are
complementing the symbol. The logo appears as a blooming flower.
